<p>I&#8217;m still using Tiger and just about to download the first security update for 2008. This is a security update for both PowerPC and Intel Macbooks.</p>
<p>One of these updates is a fix for &#8221; buffer overflow Directory Services that could allow a local user to execute arbitrary code with system privileges.&#8221; Apparently applications can arbitrarily launched on Mail by typing “file:// URLs” in the message.</p>
