Anyone knows where the fan in the MBA is located? I’ve looked at all the pictures of the MacBook Air available and I cannot figure it out. The MacBook Air design looks practically air-tight. There’s a grill at the bottom of the notebook, which could cause problems, and you’ll know what I’m saying if you’re a MacBook user. I elevate my MacBook slightly with an album to get the hot air flowing out in a good stream. Hot air rises and my MacBook gives it an opening just below the bottom of the screen – too low, really. Now the MacBook Air exhaust vent is flat at the bottom. Yikes! Is the fan, therefore, pointed downward? Anyone an expert in air flow here?

I’m betting hot air will circulate a good deal around the MBA’s internals before it can go out.
