Lightbulb Unlock iPhone 1.1.3 bootloader 4.6 ok !
Hello all !

I can finally confirm about iPhone 1.1.3 unlocked ok at 8:30PM 15/01/2008 by our team and many help from GeoHot from US, Imth from VN, and some experts about iPhone from Hackint0sh forum ! Great thanks to those awesome guys.

This method is hardware method. So have to open phone.

Status now is:
- Unlock the iPhone with firmware 1.1.3 (baseband 4.03.13)
- Downgrade the phone to 1.1.2 then jailbreak it for normally using.
- Phone will work at: firmware 1.1.2 and baseband 4.03.13.

We are still researching on Unlock and keep the firmware 1.1.3 (mean jailbreak 1.1.3) …

Will upload here some proof clip.

Thanks.

Apparently there are worse problems from the iPhone and iPod Touch firmware upgrade 1.1.3 than what is described below. It’s still unconfirmed but there have been reports that iPhones are being “bricked” by firmware 1.1.3. Yes, some iPhones no longer work after they are upgraded.

People who have upgraded to firmware 1.1.3 for their iPhone or their iPod are reporting that the software is quite unstable. Here are the problems taken from TUAW:

Error message during/after install of iTunes 7.6 and firmware 1.1.3

Loss of sound going out from the iPhone’s built-in speakers

Bluetooth devices that worked with 1.1.2 no longer work for 1.1.3

Mail failing to download

With firmware 1.1.3, the iPhone or iPod Touch does not apply update to iTunes 7.6. One option is to go to recovery mode then restore. Others that have tried to update saw an error message, updated iTunes 7.6 then updated the firmware again.

This is confusing I know and sounding too much like trial and error. The iPhone and iPod Touch are pricey devices to leave to chances. If you are using the iPhone as your only mobile, you might want to delay updating the firmware until Apple resolves these instability issues on firmware 1.1.3 for iPod Touch and iPhone.

For those already in trouble with firmware 1.1.3, you can try the instructions above for failed iTunes 7.6 update. For other problems, read on.

Report to us if you are experiencing firmware 1.1.3 problems.

Sound from speakers: a) turn the iPhone on and off or b) insert headphones to iPhone jack and try to do this several times until the sound is back.

Mail problem: go to setting then tap Mail. delete the account then re-establish it.

Bluetooth device problem: no immediate fix yet.

If I were you, I’d go to the Apple Store to have your iPod Touch fixed. If your iPhone is inoperable, get a cheap unlocked one from another brand.
