If you are and still don’t mind being called a Machead, you’d love what the guys at Computer Choppers is offering for iMacs. The treatment does not require the matte aluminum to be stripped. Other shiny metal options are also available like white gold and platinum.

Asus will be rolling out computers big and small under the eee line. These, like the Eee PC, will be dirt cheap. Asustek will be selling a PC without a monitor and a monitor/PC , which is the trendy thing to do:

E-DT – desktop PC with an Intel Celeron processor to be upgraded later on using Intel’s Shelton’08 platform with Diamondville processors and the 945GC chipset. It will run Linux and price will be between $200-$300. Not bad, but Asustek will be going for a $199 price eventually.

E-Monitor – think of it as a low-priced iMac or Dell XPS One. With a $499 price point, you’ll get a 19-21-inch of monitor space and a Shelton’08 powered PC. Yoo can also watch TV out of this one with the built-in TV tuner.

E-TV – a 42-inch TV that can be used with the Linux-based E-DT and other Eee PC computers. Price is $200 more than other TVs of the same size.

The E-DT will be available April or May while the E-Monitor and E-TV will launch September.
