Has Apple finally given up trying to get unlockers? Does it make sense to give up on their cut from the wireless providers from iPhones that were supposed to be operated on exclusive carriers? My opinion? Apple is planning to sell unlocked iPhones. It makes a lot of sense. If users are willing to risk bricking their iPhones just to get out of wireless slavery, they will be more than willing to pay for pricier iPhones that comes unlocked out of the box without going into the tedious and illicit process of software hacking.
