I’m still using Tiger and just about to download the first security update for 2008. This is a security update for both PowerPC and Intel Macbooks.
One of these updates is a fix for ” buffer overflow Directory Services that could allow a local user to execute arbitrary code with system privileges.” Apparently applications can arbitrarily launched on Mail by typing “file:// URLs” in the message.
