According to Mindset Media, which surveyed 7500 Mac and PC users, MacBook owners tend to be, well, more self-involved than their PC counterparts. Mac users, according to the survey, tend to buy five sneakers a year, use teeth whitening products, go to Starbucks, pay for music they download, drive a hybrid and care about a Earth. Don’t believe it? Watch the video for yourself.

Are you fucking kidding me? Since when is paying for music a bad thing? Caring about the earth? Bad? Seriously, get out of your parents’ basements.

I have a mac, and i LOVE it. i don’t drive a hybrid, i could care less about going green, and i’m quite conservative…i also hate being irritated. That’s why i have a mac. I’ve had 3 macs in 6 years and i love it, its so much better than dealing with dells and HP’s. BTW my computers didn’t crap out, i have an iMac and 2 laptops, i wanted a new laptop before i started college so i got a new one.

Well, I have an IBM ThinkPad and it’s never let me down. I’ll admit it isn’t cool as the new lightweight Macs, but it gets the work done and it’s full of nice and useful apps by IBM.

I build my own PCs and use windows. i spent $1400 total on my parts (5 years ago!), it still runs like a dream, i leave it on for months at a time without needing to restart, only after major software installations. i’ve had a virus maybe once (from downloading random … “things” on limewire), and i was able to remove it with a free antivirus program. ive used it with several different printers, all were able to install themselves automatically (through windows update) without using a disk or downloading drivers. my computer makes almost no sound whatsoever.
heres the truth. macs are not any more “secure” from viruses, but makes make up less than 5% of the global PC market, why would somebody writing a virus target macs? the same reason terrorists dont target rural areas. macs run “faster” than “PCs” because they usually compare a $4000 mac to a $700 dell or compaq budget machine instead of something equivelant in speed (such as an alienware, or a voodoopc)
macs are overpriced, limited, and incompatible with the world. mac users are arrogant tools that buy mac’s rediculous ad campaigns “it just works” (BU!!$#!T). their target market is wealthy trendy idiots. just watch the commercials about mac users. “macs turn on and off, unlike a PC which you need a degree to know how to turn it on/off” i’ve hard shut off my computer so many times (hold down the off button) and skipped the disk check and never had a single problem. mac is for people too dumb to learn how to use a computer properly.
buying a mac is like buying a “smart car” (marketed towards the same kind of people). its ad campaign makes it out to be “better for the environment, but still practical and stylish, and also being safe” yet its gas milage is about as good as a toyota yaris, MUCH worse gas milage than a VW with a new diesel engine, is safer because you cant exceed 80mph, and makes you look like an arrogant fool when driving one. and its 16,000 new! “thats pretty cheap for a car that saves the world!” smart car drivers, mac users…. tools of the marketing industry.
next time i see a mac user (typically sitting back in starbucks, wearing a scarf in 80 degree weather, drinking a super duper frappachino italiano venti, wearing a “che” shirt, with aviator sunglasses) im gonna punch him in the face
