MacBook Air battery replacement will not break the bank

Okay, the battery replacement for the MacBook Air is fairly reasonable at $129 and installation is complete. It still comes short of having the option of changing the batteries yourself, but it’s definitely a move forward for Apple.
The thinking is, no one is going to carry a spare battery around anyways. But then what happens when you need the battery replaced? According to Apple, the process takes 5 days, which means that it’s not really a secondary or backup battery you need but a backup MacBook. Geez!

Nice blog. Just got a black MacBook three months ago and really like it.
Do you have any idea how long it takes to boot up the MacBook Air?

After having my Mac Book Pro’s Battery DIE and then Expand to 4 times it’s original size.
1 month after the warranty finished.
This computer will be COMPLETE Destroyed in one year and one month.
It’s a disposable computer with an expensive price tag.
Sure you can replace the battery, if the old one hasn’t buckled and broken all the other closely packed components.
WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO THROUGH IT AWAY IN ONE YEAR
