Ever since the iPhone became available, people have been wondering if they may be able to watch porn on a regular basis on their iPhone. The fact that iPhone’s large-size screen will be ideal for mobile adult content didn’t escape many observers but, so far, after six months being out in the market I have yet to receive news of on-the-go porn making a big impact on the lifestyles of iPhone users.

Reuters in a rather timely article about porn on mobile phones, opines that “if the adult entertainment industry has its way, Americans will soon get a choice of free porn on cell phones — or at least some photographs of good-looking girls in bikinis.” Jay Grdina, husband of Jenna Jameson and president of adult entertainment provider ClubJenna Inc, believes that the adult industry has to be on top (no pun intended, presumably,) of the mobile phone industry.

“It will be impossible to stop the adult business exploitation of mobile entertainment,” said Gregory Piccionelli, a lawyer who specializes in adult entertainment at law firm Piccionelli & Sarno. He adds, that the iPhone with its graphics and browser that offers the un-watered-down version of the Net is ideal for porn viewing.

I don’t know about you, but once Piccionelli and Grdina begns talking to Steve Jobs about revenue sharing they’d think twice about putting their content on the iPhone.
