“MacBook Air is physically attractive,” tech guru Walt Mossberg kept saying during the interview with Wall Street Journal Digital Network (watch the video below). He said it so many times I wondered why he didn’t just come out with it. MBA is damned sexy. Mossberg also pointed out that Apple has made it a habit to be well-ahead of other players in whatever industry it chooses to compete in… you know, like Apple wouldn’t have made the iPhone if it just wanted to give us what we were asking for.

This is Apple’s first foray into sub-notebooks or ultraportables, as many like to call it. The gesture-based, multi-touch track pad gets a mention. This will be the MacBook Air’s legacy, according to Mr. Mossberg.
