The MacBook Air is a fragile POS. Mine lasted 3 weeks. Its design which emphasizes cooling from the top makes it a setting duck. Unless you operate your MBA in a clean room, it's going down. Mine took 3 weeks. Apple quoted me a $700 repair for something that cost $999 three weeks before.
